  • www.anp.nl - the ‘Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau’, or general netherlands press agency, is the main Dutch purveyor of news ‘hot off the needle’.

  • kranten.com - a site with one-line summaries of the main articles in Dutch papers, grouped under headings: national, regional, Belgian, sport, business & finance.
  • //kranten.pagina.nl - yet another startpage
  • kidon.com - a site with links to currently over 160 Dutch newspapers, also to all Dutch language news sources world-wide - includes an internet radio station in Dutch in Liberia!
  • nu.nl - news etc, it is not obvious who the promotors of the enterprise are.
  • And do not forget to ask the Australian Paperboy!
  • sapenda.nl/  offers a free personalised daily news resume by e-mail, with useful links to background information.Subscribers to the free edition will receive personalised mailings on their choosen interests. It is not obvious who the promotors of this enterprise are, but they have been around for more than 3 years now.

  • nrc.nl - considered the evening bulwark of the thinking Dutchman (and woman!)
  • parool.nl - het Parool
  • spitsnet.nl - ‘Spits’ is the ‘gratis’ newspaper handed out at trains and busses.
  • telegraaf.nl - largest circulation daily morning paper
  • trouw.nl -
  • volkskrant.nl - considered somewhat left-of-centre.
