Flemish is very much in the process of formalising, now that the two language identities in Belgium have attained a fair level of autonomy within the regions where they are spoken. As yet, I have not come across a Flemish dictionary - yet there are many instances where a speaker of Dutch will instantly stand out by word use.

Think of ‘schoon’ - in Dutch it means clean, in Antwerp province it means nice, as in beautiful; ‘schone bloemen’ - nice flowers.
